Trail & Enduro Park Kraličák: family flow trails, a six-seat chairlift and black enduro stages below Štvanice
Practical Information
Trail & Enduro Park Kraličák lies around Štvanice hill between Stříbrnice and Hynčice pod Sušinou. It offers 22 km of trails from the green Rodinný Stříbrňák for children and beginners through blue flow trails and the red Fun Flow to black enduro RZ stages with roots, rocks, rock gardens and steep forest sections. A six-seat D-line chairlift with bike hooks takes riders up; at the bottom there is rental, pumptrack, refreshments and facilities.
Trail & Enduro Park Kraličák is the kind of area where it is easy to say: “I’ll just do the family trail and then coffee.” Two hours later you are standing by the map, studying the black RZ stages and wondering whether your courage has accidentally grown bigger than your brake pads. Kraličák lies around Štvanice hill in the Králický Sněžník area, between Stříbrnice and Hynčice pod Sušinou, and is part of BikeRegion Králický Sněžník.
The official website describes 22 km of trails leading into two valleys: towards Hynčice with a climbing trail and towards Stříbrnice with the option of using the fast six-seat D-line chairlift. The lift has bike hooks, is about 1 km long and takes you up in roughly five minutes. That is pleasant news for your legs, but not automatic forgiveness for your head. You still have to choose a trail down that you can actually ride.
Why go
Kraličák is interesting mainly because it combines family trail riding and real enduro. On one hill you get the green Rodinný Stříbrňák, the short Hynčická tečka, blue flow trails, the red Fun Flow, a skill trail, a pumptrack and black RZ stages for experienced riders. It is not only a bikepark for full-face helmets, and not only an easy forest cycle path. It is an area where you can start carefully and gradually add difficulty.
The second advantage is the setting. The trails wind around Štvanice, with views of the Jeseníky mountains, past fortifications, forests, ski slopes and the Úžas pond. Hynčice and Stříbrnice both provide facilities and refreshments, and at the lower lift station in Stříbrnice you will find bike, e-bike and scooter rental. For families, it is useful that children do not have to start with a long descent: there is a skill trail and pumptrack by the lift.
Trails and difficulty
The easiest and longest family route is Rodinný Stříbrňák. It is 6.8 km long, green and starts at the upper lift station. The official website describes it as suitable for complete beginners and small children. Expect small rollers, easy berms, resting spots, views and a finish directly at the lower lift station in Stříbrnice.
Hynčická tečka is a short green trail, 700 m long. It runs from the Úžas pond to Hynčice, with well-built turns and wooden crossings over wet ground. It is a good choice for a light ride, but note that from Hynčice you return to Štvanice via a climbing trail, so there is some pedalling involved.
The blue trails are mainly Kudrňák, Modrý Flowčko and Vlaštovka. Kudrňák is a medium trail full of berms and passages between trees. Modrý Flowčko is 2.5 km long and offers rollers, bermed turns and a lively ride without brutal technical demands. Vlaštovka is 2.4 km long, passes around border fortifications and is rideable even for less strong riders, while still offering tables, rollers and a step-up.
The red Fun Flow is 1.7 km long and aimed at intermediate riders. It has rollers, jumps, proper berms and a faster rhythm. It is not rooty forest enduro, but it is no longer “just a gentle cruise”. Riders who do not want to jump should check bypass options and avoid blindly following a faster group.
The black RZ trails are a different league. RZ-1 to RZ-5 are natural enduro stages for experienced riders who are not afraid of roots, rocks, stumps, rock gardens and steeper sections. RZ-1 is described by the operator as the technically hardest trail at Kraličák, with 600 m length and 134 m of elevation drop. RZ-2 is 600 m with 149 m elevation, RZ-3 is 1.2 km with 215 m elevation, RZ-4 is 1.1 km with 190 m elevation and RZ-5 is 1.1 km with 194 m elevation.
For beginners and children
Beginners should start at the bottom. The skill trail and pumptrack at the lower lift station in Stříbrnice are there for exactly that: trying berms, pumping, body position, speed changes and basic approaches without immediately getting stuck halfway down a mountain wondering whether it is possible to leave a trail with dignity on foot.
For a first lift-assisted descent, Rodinný Stříbrňák makes the most sense. It is long, green, clear and finishes by the lower lift station. Even so, children need to be able to brake, corner and hold a line. A trail colour is not a magical safety bubble.
For families, the Úžas pond near Hynčice is also interesting. The official website mentions relaxation, paddleboarding, swimming, seating, refreshments, a sandpit and a swing. During a trail day, it works very well as a pause, but the water and rentals at the pond have their own operating rules, so check current operation on site.
Lift, bikepass and operation
Kraličák uses summer tariffs for the chairlift and Trail & Enduro Park. The summer 2026 price list includes both online and regular prices. A one-day online tariff costs CZK 590 for adults 15+, CZK 430 for children aged 6 to 14.9, seniors over 65 and ZTP/ZTPP card holders, and CZK 202 for children aged 3 to 5.9. The regular on-site price is higher: CZK 650, CZK 510 and CZK 220. A refundable CZK 100 deposit for the chip card is added to the tariff.
There are also single rides, five rides, a two-hour tariff, a two-day tariff, a weekend ticket and a season option. If you are riding for the first time and are not sure how much you can handle, a two-hour tariff may make sense. If you really want to ride, the day tariff is more practical.
Opening times are seasonal and change by month. For May 2026, the resort lists operation on 1 May, 8 May and weekends from 9:00 to 17:00. For June 2026, it lists 5 June plus Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 to 17:00. Older September information shows Friday 12:00–17:00, Saturday 9:00–17:00 and Sunday 9:00–14:00. Always check current opening hours before travelling, especially outside the main holidays.
Rental and equipment
The rental point is directly by the ticket offices in Stříbrnice, at the lower D-line chairlift station. It offers Norco Aurum enduro and downhill bikes, Cannondale Habit trail MTBs, Beany Blaster children’s and junior bikes, Rock Machine e-bikes, Kostka Monster Max scooters and family equipment. Helmets, full-face helmets, knee and elbow pads, chest and back protectors are also available.
Rental prices are specific: a full-suspension Norco enduro/trail bike costs CZK 1,390 per day or CZK 1,040 for half a day; a front-suspension Cannondale Habit trail MTB costs CZK 950 per day or CZK 750 for half a day. Children’s and junior bikes range from CZK 400 to 700 per day depending on size. A Rock Machine e-bike costs CZK 1,190 per day. Refundable deposits apply, typically CZK 4,000 for adult bikes and CZK 2,000 for children’s bikes.
Accessories have separate prices: MTB helmet CZK 100/day, full-face helmet CZK 200, knee or elbow pads CZK 150, chest and back protector CZK 200. For black RZ stages and faster red sections, I would treat a full-face helmet and protection not as showing off, but as normal equipment.
Current trail status
Unlike some larger resorts, I did not find a separate clear trail-status table for every trail on the Kraličák website during verification. That makes it even more important to check current operation before travelling via the official website, the resort’s social channels or by phone, especially after rain, during races, maintenance or outside the main season.
One simple rule applies: do not bypass a closed trail. Not because of bureaucracy, but because a closed section may contain open works, machinery, a damaged bridge, tools or conditions that can turn a nice day into a surgical record.
Safety and bike type
For green and blue trails, a good mountain or trail bike, working brakes, a helmet and basic technique are enough. For the red Fun Flow and especially the black RZ stages, choose a trail or enduro bike with good tyres and brakes. For RZ stages, use a full-face helmet, knee pads, gloves and ideally a back or chest protector.
The biggest mistake at Kraličák is overestimating the jump from green to black. Rodinný Stříbrňák and RZ-1 are two completely different worlds. One teaches you to like berms; the other quickly explains what a root at a bad angle means. Progress gradually: skill trail, Rodinný Stříbrňák, blue trails, Fun Flow and only then enduro.
Who it suits
Kraličák suits families with children who want to start trail riding, hobby bikers looking for flow and more experienced enduro riders who want more natural technical routes than just polished berms. It also works well for a mixed group: one rides Rodinný Stříbrňák, another blue trails, another RZ stages, and everyone meets at the lift or refreshments.
It is less suitable for people seeking a completely easy cycle path, guaranteed daily operation outside the season or a perfectly smoothed bikepark without natural surprises. Kraličák is a mountain area and the enduro part really is enduro. Roots, stones and wet forest are not a bug, but part of the game.
What to watch out for
Before travelling, check lift operation, weather, trail updates and rental availability. Outside the main summer period, it may not be open every day. In July, August and during events, expect more traffic at parking areas, the lift and rental.
Be more careful after rain. The black RZ trails can be significantly harder in wet conditions than when dry. If you ride with children, take the first run slowly and stop as needed. If you ride with faster friends, do not let yourself be pushed into a pace that is not yours. A friendly “you’ve got this” in a bikepark sometimes has the value of bad investment advice.
Summary
Trail & Enduro Park Kraličák is an excellent area for riders who want family trails, flow, pumptrack, chairlift and real enduro in one place. The green Rodinný Stříbrňák is a great entry point for beginners, blue trails add flow and speed, the red Fun Flow requires confidence and the black RZ stages belong to experienced riders. Kraličák’s biggest strength is variety. Its biggest risk is the same thing. Choose the trail by your skills, not your ego, and it can be one of the most fun bike days in the Jeseníky mountains.
